Hi, I’m Kim Cromwell.

This work is who I am.

I am an enrolled member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, and grew up in Whiteriver, Arizona on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation.

For a decade, I worked on behalf my tribe, most recently as Deputy Attorney General. I’m proud of my work advising and assisting Tribal departments, programs and enterprises. I also gained significant experience protecting tribal interests through drafting and negotiating contracts and leases, and helping to create good laws for my people.

Several of the things I have been proudest of include:

  • Working to reform our Tribal court through using a Healing-to-Wellness model to help our community members end cycles of involvement in the justice system;

  • Helping to guide the Tribe through the COVID-19 pandemic, and recovery efforts;

  • Aiding the Tribe in processing and usage of Volkswagen Class Action Settlement Funds, to replace the Tribal Fire Department and Head Start busses; and

  • Helping secure a $52 million Tribal Court judgment against the defendant who ignited the Chedeski Fire, which burned 281,000 acres of Reservation forest land.

    In my spare time, I enjoy being with my husband and our three children.

Hi, I’m Matt Mcreynolds.

I set out on this career path to make a difference.

In my 12 years of practicing law, working exclusively with Native Peoples and tribes, I have been constantly amazed at the resilience, ingenuity, compassion and goodness of my clients.

Together, we have accomplished great things, fighting for sacred sites, water rights, educational equality, sovereignty over tribal lands, forging partnerships with federal agencies, strengthening Tribal justice systems, and so much more.

We are creating a beautiful future for our children and grand-children, preserving language and culture, and maintaining political and cultural sovereignty.

I believe in this work. That’s what drives me.
